FatPort gives away 2 Vancouver International Film Festival Gold passes
Vancouver, BC, October 7, 2002 --FatPort announced that Robert Russo and Cole Johnson
are the lucky winners of FatPort.s Vancouver International Film Festival Gold Pass giveaway
contest. The contest marks FatPort.s 1st year in business as the leading provider of public
wireless Internet access in Canada.
FatPort is providing free high speed wireless Internet access in various VIFF venues around
Vancouver from now until October 11th. Festival staff are assisting patrons jump the queue by
selling tickets using wireless-enabled laptops. Moreover, they will be able to provide patrons
with up-to-the-minute scheduling information in cinema line-ups, and at the ticket kiosk using
wireless-enabled devices provided by FatPort.
