FatPort selects Peer 1 Network to provide 100% Uptime

Vancouver, Nov 18, 2002 --Peer 1 Network (TSX: PIX), a leading North American provider of high performance Internet bandwidth and server co-location facilities worldwide, today announced the company will be providing FatPort, a provider of wireless Internet access and hardware in Canada, with 100% uptime connectivity.

With access speeds up to 40% faster than other wireless technologies, FatPort's high speed wireless Internet access allows for connections outside traditional office spaces. FatPort can be found in cafes, hotels, and other public places in Canada - and throughout North America in the coming months.

"We chose Peer 1 based on their reliable, redundant network that has layers of built-in back-up, 24 hour monitoring and a location that can't be beat" said Ken Simpson, Chief Technology Officer of FatPort.

"Peer 1 is proud to provide connectivity for FatPort's back-end mission-critical systems", said Geoff Hampson, president and CEO. "FatPort extends Internet availability to non traditional locations allowing people to work or browse while away from a fixed connection"
