FatPort at Coal Harbour and English Bay
Vancouver, BC - July 16, 2003 - Two of Vancouver.s most scenic destinations are now FatPort.s
newest high speed wireless Internet access zones. With service now available at English Bay and in
Coal Harbour, Vancouverites no longer have any reason to work in a stuffy office.
Based on the popular 802.11b (WiFi) standard, FatPort is pleased to offer service at the Mill
Marine Bistro, and the surrounding areas in Coal Harbour. As Canada.s first and only .Boat-Thru.
restaurant, FatPort.s customers can sail up to the Mill.s pier, and order wifi with their coffee
and sandwiches.
English Bay.s service is provided by an antenna atop the Best Western Sands Hotel and covers
the beach towards Stanley Park, and the many apartments facing the hotel.
.A relaxing day on the water doesn.t need to stop people from communicating with their office,.
enthuses Malcolm McDonald, FatPort.s Marketing Manager. .By taking advantage of our fast Internet
access, our customers act on their desire to be on beach instead..
These are not the only two outdoor locations our customers can enjoy. Besides the countless
coffee shop patios, FatPort also recently unwired Kitsilano Beach with Wi-Fi. FatPort.s service
is available throughout the grassy areas along Cornwall, and into the pool.
