FATPORT AND GPS INDUSTRIES PARTNER TO BRING THE WIRELESS WORLD TO GOLF

Companies recognize added value in creating large Wi-Fi Hotspots on golf courses, residential golf course communities and golf resorts

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, -- March 1, 2004 - FatPort Corporation, Canada's most extensive wireless Internet service provider, announced that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with GPS Industries Inc. (GPSI), (OTC BB: GPSN, Germany: Berlin and Frankfurt WKN#: 252179), a leading developer and provider of global positioning (GPS) golf course and sports solutions, to introduce Wi-Fi Hotspots to golf courses, golf course residential communities and golf resorts worldwide.

The companies intend to leverage GPSI's existing high-speed wireless network, available through its Inforemer® GPS-based golf management system, with FatPort's modular Internet access gateways. The integrated product will provide secure subscriber authentication and provisioning, secure payment methods and processing, account management, and customer service for GPSI's Wi-Fi InforeZone™ service, creating a completely new and substantial revenue stream for golf courses. The companies will also collaborate on new voice-over IP and wireless applications that can be bundled and offered to the golf industry in conjunction with the InforeZone service.
